Excretory System

The Excretory System removes waste from the body and balances blood volume. When your body performs its chemical activities, carbon dioxide and ammonia are made. They do this to keep you healthy. Your kidneys are what filter the blood. The kidneys filter about 2,000 liters of blood each day. In each kidney there are nephrons. Nephrons are the microscopic filters that removes waste from the body. Most of the water in blood is returned to the blood stream. Then, the urin passes through the ureter, into the bladder, and then after that it goes out of your body through the uretha.
